A native speaker of German, I have lived in Austria, Germany, Hong Kong, and the United States. I have extensive expertise in web/graphic design, photography and many years of teaching experience.
I have used my pedagogical expertise combined with a musical affinity and graphic design talent to create innovative educational materials and presentations. In addition to teaching in face-to-face classrooms, I have experience with online and hybrid contexts using Web 2.0 (e.g., Language Apps, Prezi) and learning management systems (e.g. Schoology).
My teaching experience ranges from developing and teaching German curricula for children and adults at all levels. to preparing individual and groups of learners for tests such as the Goethe Zertifikat, Sprachdiplom, Goethe Zertifikat, or I-GCSE. After an initial needs analysis and diagnostic assessment, I tailor effective task-based activities to each individual learner.
